  That's a good question.

  By "BSD style", do you mean that it doesn't have run levels, that it
has a single /etc/rc script, or that it follows recent BSD innovation
of having /etc/rc.d?

  In theory, it is enough to have our script invoked somewhere.
  If the slackware people can tell us:
  1) how to recognize their system
  2) what they want us to do

  We can certainly get something in for 2.01.
