  There are no stats like this, unless the AES patch added some.
  I would assume not more than 4K per SA in the kernel.
  (AES candidate, Twofish has a lot of state, closer to 4K itself, but AES
does not have quite as much, I believe) 

  I might count as much as 8K per tunnel for pluto, but this memory can be
virtual if need be.

  So, for 50 tunnels, 200KB. That's really not very much, even on a 16MB system.
