There seem to be two elements mentioned in PR111.

The check for our client's TXT records before going forward is present. To
wit, if you read the first e-mail in this thread, you'll see that the freeze
occurs as it checks TXT records for my subnet (in reponse to a nearly 
simultaneous port scan). 

The are references to myid code; those aren't in this snapshot.
