My preferred location would be here.  That is to say, Hartwell, Georgia. 
While I have nothing BUT time, I have no money and won't fly.

I looked at the IETF schedule and there's a meeting waaayyy on the other 
side of Canada in a couple of months.  A few years ago it was in Atlanta and 
I was hoping it'd be back here by now, but no such luck.  Dunno about 
Usenix, but you should assume I cannot afford anything, so I'd need to stay 
at someone's place.

Services here are:

1) My parent's guest house.  Your basic 32x32 1BR1B vacation house.  This is 
where what remains of my furnature is stored.  Sleeps two on queen bed, plus 
two in living room on roll-outs.  Can be made into a bunk house if need be. 
Parents have approved this use for us.  Advantage: right price (free), 
access to lake.
Disadvantage: limited capacity.

2) Skelton House B&B in Hartwell.  Advantage: best food in town. 
Disadvantage: expensive, limited capacity.

3) Days Inn in Hartwell.  Advantage: low cost, lots of rooms, includes cable 
TV, pool, and wireless IP.  Disadvantage: lousy food and lousy location.

There's a couple of other places to stay, but I assume you like your sheets 
without lice so won't bother with them.

As for a meeting hall .. if floating on the lake isn't good enough .. I have 
keys to the Art Center (um .. formally named "The Lundberg Art Center" .. so 
you can guess why I don't expect an inhertance) and the local community 
theatre (no name, just called "the theatre").

The closest commercial airport is GSP, about an hour north of here.  I can 
offer shuttle service up to 6 riders per trip.  Parents have approved this 
use of the minivan already.

People who would fly into ATL would need to rent a car and get here on their 
own.  Oddly enough, Mapquest gives perfect directions to get here.
