RE: wu-ftp install problems / questions

Hi I am trying to install ws-ftpd on Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES release 3
(Taroon Update 4)
Kernel 2.4.21-27.0.2.ELsmp on an i686kernel header .
I can now get the ./configure and make and make install to complete, but I
am still having problems
with this software. When I check to see if it is installed the system tell
me that it is not installed.
I went back to the install log from this process and found this that it can
cannot find confdefs.h...
Have any Ideas on how to fix it or what to look for .
Is there a good set of instruction for installing this product around.
