Hello all,

I downloaded the source for wuftp 2.6.2, untarred the archive and then
ran the following commands from the source directory, following the
instructions in the INSTALL file.

# ./build sol
This compiles the source files and creates a bin directory under the
source directory

# ./build install
This reports no errors

# cd bin
# ./ckconf
This reports no errors

I edited /etc/inetd.conf to point ftpd to /etc/ftpd/in.ftpd and then
restarted the inet daemon.

All well so far.

But when I type ftp <host>, my Solaris 9 server is still using the
default ftp which came with Solaris. I do not see the banner telling me
I am using wuftp.

What should I do after following all the instructions in the INSTALL
file provided with the source code? I've followed the instructions in
that file but can't my ftp executable in /usr/bin is still using the
standard Solaris version, not wuftp.

Thanks and regards,
Preet
