Question - Upgrading WU-Ftpd

All,

I have a upcoming upgrade of Wu-FTP from version 2.4(2) to the latest 
version on Solaris 8. I'm wondering what the easiest way to upgrade 
wu-ftpd on a Solaris 8 server is without losing configuration data and the 
such. I was unable to find any information on the website.
