Hello,
I just tried to build libextractor on Solaris and get
a linker error:
/bin/sh ../../libtool --mode=link gcc -g -O2 -o
extract extractor.o extract.o
../../src/main/libextractor.la -lm
gcc -g -O2 -o .libs/extract extractor.o extract.o ../../src/main/.libs/libextractor.so -lm -R/usr/local/lib
Undefined first referenced
symbol in file
dlclose extractor.o
(symbol belongs to implicit dependency /usr/lib/libdl.so.1)
dlsym extractor.o
(symbol belongs to implicit dependency /usr/lib/libdl.so.1)
dlopen extractor.o
(symbol belongs to implicit dependency /usr/lib/libdl.so.1)
dlerror extractor.o
(symbol belongs to implicit dependency /usr/lib/libdl.so.1)
ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output
written to .libs/extract
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
it seems that there's a problem with libtool (maybe outdated version?)
but i don't have the adequate environment on that box to play with it
(and i know little about libtool). Just reporting in case it's useful,
i can do more tests if you want.
or perhaps it's a bug in libtool. i don't know how to determine
