Joe was using a 2.2 kernel which really does not like the MSG_WAITALL flag passed to send in util/io.c (results in all sends failing, which is not really good :-). Joe, let me know if you have any further trouble, I've NOT tested everything on your system. Oh, and I had to install the latest autotools to make CVS compile, so you may want to keep those around to play with the fixed code.
