Hello gnunet mailing list,

I am not so sure that freenet is any different from peer or TOR networks=
. It is said to validate identities, but that move is contrary to the go=
als of privacy. However, TOR networks consist of TOR connection hosts as=
well. A host would need to be trust-worthy, but no one can be sure of t=
he host. How can we prove that these hosts are to be trusted? Same can b=
e said for GNUnet, but like freenet, it's a work in progress, only that =
GNUnet got alpha releases. Freenet should not just consider GNUnet as ab=
solutely surveillance. Remember that partial conditions exist.
