If they vote completely dishonestly, then their votes on their files all count 
negatively (they are compared to the votes of your own client), and that way 
their votes get inverted in your client, and you get a good measure again. 

This happens, because voting against all good files means, they have a high 
chance of also voting against your files, so the spammers get a negative 
rating and their votes are useful again (inverted). 

If they don't vote in a meaningful way (some of their votes in line with your 
votes, some against), then your client simply doesn't count their votes at 
all (since they don't reach the treshold of being of value, either good or 
bad). 

Please remember, that you don't vote on people but on files in the Credence 
system.
