Let's not forget also that more than half of the web speaks another language
than English, and that there are now lots of languages.

I fear this scheme would create much false positives for non-English users,
that would be immediately banned by all others (speaking English or another
language...)

Such scheme, implemented this way, would immediately make English the only
usable language for searches on Gnutella, except for a very limited number
of wellknown titles.

But the situation will be even worse when searching for proper names, simply
because they have NO standard orthography, and lots of variation (just open
a phone diary to be convinced ; most of these proper names are also often
based on the standard orthography of a common name within some language, and
just changing one or a few letters to a common name used in searches would
immediately create hits to other names which are not spammed).
