book on file sharing networks

hi,

i am a software engineer working in a research & development organization
specializing in distributed networks.
i am trying to write a book on free social networks like gnutella,
bittorrent etc. the book focuses mainly on gnutella and it is trying to
expose the internals of the system.

traditionally i was a c programmer till i jumped to c# some years back. i
would request some help from the learned coders in gnutella code, so some of
the major functionalties of the system could be documented and exposed for
students to review and understand.

the book is intended to be published in some website.
