RE: Consider banning Lars Magne (from gmane.org and gnus.org) from this list

Apparently the IP belongs to a not too large block /16 block, in Toronto,
Canada, connected via LINX by Bell Canada. It is supposed to be non
portable, so this is an address assigned by its ISP to the current
connection.

Bell.ca provides this info about 207.164.83.226, which is part of a
sub-block with only 1024 addresses, so it is probably located in the
indicated city (Midland, Ontario), and possibly indicates the final company
running it (Compu-SOLVE). The block is quite recent (created in last July,
making it even more suspect).

What is strange is that Google finds that Compu-SOLVE is identified as a
providing antispam solutions ("netGUARD", see www.spamalert.ca, currently
not responding or overwhelmed by traffic): I fear this is a proxy provider,
normally just used to provide virus free connections.

- If this is really a proxy, then there's little we can do to identify the
source, without asking to CompuSOLVE that one of its customers is abusing
the net.
- If this is a a fake provider (I don't know Compu-SOLVE), we have found a
spammer heaven here.
