So we are similar in the keywords our files contain. And that's similar enough for me without requiring anyone of us to give out any private data. And since my QRT is less than 5% filled, there's much space for people who aren't similar to me :) > :What do you think about selecting/priorizing nodes from the Host catcher > : based on similarities in their QRT? > Even if it meant anything, to know the QRT of a node you need to connect > to it. I though more about using a similarity metric and saving that along with other info inside the host catcher to priorize people who share similar files as me when selecting the next node to try. And on the long term, this would group the network more strongly, so that the Query Routing Protocol should become more efficient (joining QRTs would result in smaller combined QRTs, because they would be more similar). For me there are two main questions: * How strongly does it benefit my searches? * How much impact does it have on the performance of the host catcher (I checked the host catcher of Phex, and it is so heavily optimized, that I don't trust myself to do even a simple estimation how much an added parameter would impact performance).
