No, just that it is already possible to archieve with Gnutella what BitTorrent 
does. 

The DHT then goes beyond that model - but a BitTorrent-like server is already 
possible with Gnutella. 

And these servers have one advantage: They allow communities to form around 
them. 

Still, having a DHT is the better way I think. 

Yet, having Gnutella servers which work like BitTorrent servers is already 
possible. The problem is just that almost noone knows about them.
