What I thought to understand till now is, that they are already exchanged via the download mesh, and if a client has no valid sources, it can just do a DHT search for the files hash to find new sources. So either I'm wrong, or publishing in the DHT alt-locs just duplicates data in the DHT which is already available as shared files (except for the hopefully rare case where no complete sources of a certain file are vailable). Did I misunderstand something?
