Adding a peer to LimeWire

Hi!

I'm trying to write a test-gnutella-client and i already did the part
that downloads from LimeWire client. 

My problem now is how to make LimeWire download from my client. In
other clients such as eMule and uTorrent i know there's an option to
add a peer (like LimeWire has for the connections part) - is there
anything similar in LimeWire (if so, where)?

If not, if the client attempts to download the file from LimeWire (the
same one LW wants to download) will it try to download from it in
return? How can i make LW to try download from my clients?
