My two concerns here is that it is also the generally accepted notation
for binding on "all available IPv4 addresses", and it should be made
clear to the reader that this isn't the intention here; and that sending
data to 127/8 has a known behavior, whereas 0/8 is not as clear-cut
(going back on the "bind" notation).
