Wow, that's been a long time indeed! 10 years? Glad you're still the
owner though, as that means they're in good hands.
Not many left, from what I can tell. However, Raphael is quite active
with new developments and specifications thereof.
LimeWire's Wiki was a great resource for documentation regarding the
Gnutella protocol, and a lot easier to access than the mish-mash of
documents this group provides (not to mention then unadultered spam
added on a daily basis).
However, since it is no longer publicly available - bar a few copies
made by others - I think the domains might be a good starting point to
redo such a Wiki. A Wiki is always evolving with new contributions, and
the added visibility through those domains might drive some new
interests/innovation for the protocol; I'm particularly keen to see the
academic interest in the protocol, as we had before.
That's my personal opinion at least ;) Keen to see other ideas!
