Good idea. The 'any type' search does this correctly, not letting the user type more when the box is full, but the schema-specific searches don't yet count up all the characters until the search is finished. Perhaps we should just only include the words that add up to <= 30 characters for the plain text portion of the XML searches, and let the XML be the full amount? I believe right now we'll just concatenate all the words in the XML and throw them into the plain text query too.
