[core-dev] Smart Downloads

Hi,
    Could someone please put me in the direction of how Limewire does smart type downloads.
By this I mean what policies it follows to download      
                                for example     from best speed hosts...most sources.....etc

Does anyone know what part of the code does this?

The reason I ask is that i am trying to do a multi-source downloader does not always do downloads the same way. This being regardless of the number of replicas, the size of the file, the locations of the replicas, the speeds of the peers hosting the replicas, etc., etc. and I am trying to implement some policies to pick the best download speed....best locations of files etc
