Where are you typing 'java' in the respective launches? If you're
trying to launch core, you must when it while in the core directory.
If you're trying to launch GUI, you must run it while in the GUI
directory. Note that the classpath for the core is very out of date.
We don't run the standalone core too often, so that script tends to be
old.

The problem with the GUI, if you did run it while in the GUI directory,
seems to be related to the themes.jar. It looks like LimeWire isn't
able to find a resource within the themes.jar, or isn't able to find
the themes.jar at all. It very much seems like a problem with your
classpath.

I recommend using the scripts that are already in gui in order to start
LimeWire.

Thanks,
  Sam
