For some strange reasons, this code, written 3 years ago, could not be
released. It was a rebuild of the current Limewire20.dll component that
integrates the native desktop indicator, and allows loading native
images/bitmaps/icons into Limewire.

This code works perfectly on Windows NT, 2000, XP, but this DLL was not
loading properly under Windows 95/98, without known reason, despite it
only uses core Win32 API which is fully supported on Windows 95.

I wrote this code as a replacement of the old Limewire20.dll, whose
sources seem to have been lost. I payed particular attention to make it
compatible with the basic Win32 API supported by Windows 95. But I
can't explain why we get an error with this version, and which causes
an alert box to be displayed with a message similar to:
"LimeWire20.dll could not be loaded: an exported entry point is missing
in DLL." and no other indication about how to fix this error.

This newer DLL (which was supposed to be fully binary compatible with
the current Limewire20.dll shipped in Limewire) has the interest of
properly handling Unicode strings coming from Java, so that it will
display correctly the translated menu items (containing non ASCII
characters). It also effectively adds a few icons to these menu items.

If someone can test and fix this code (compiled with Developer Studio
6) so that it runs under Windows 95/98/ME, thanks for giving hints.

There are still lots of people running Limewire on Windows 95/98/ME. We
can't deprecate these systems, by releasing now the newer code.
