Linux command line Gopher+ client

Hello Gopher List,

my name is Wolfgang (I guess you already got that the mail header) and
this is my first post here.  I'm an old Gopher user (both meanings)
with a recently regained interest in Gopher.  Well, to be correct it
is not Gopher but Gopher+.

I have been looking for a Gopher+ client but couldn't find one.
(Perhaps I should have done more research for it). So I have been
working on _gc_ - a command line client for Linux. It is a mixture
between a working client and a prototyping test-bed.  You can read
