Hey Group, The Guard Dog has undoubtedly saved my system many time according to the log file of failed hits on me. Here's something new that keeps crashing the router. My daughter came home from college with a Dell laptop with built-in wireless adaptor. I picked up a Linksys BEFWA11S4 wireless and attached it according to instructions to the Linksys cable modem. Everfything works fine except when she starts her laptop. I set it to automatically connect to our home network which is wep and restricted to her mac address. She connects and gains the internet and then all other computers on the home network lose their connectivitiy. I power down the Linksys router, do an refresh dhcp and everything works fine. She can power down .. but next power up, same thing happens. Any ideas? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
