Hi,

please apologize if you feel I am spamming, but looking closer at my
problem I found the following. I turned on logging and stepped into
messages like this one:

DROPPED IN=eth0 OUT= MAC=ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:00:50:f2:f7:9d:bf:08:00
SRC=192.168.1.8 DST=255.255.255.255 LEN=78 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=64
ID=7535 PROTO=UDP SPT=1035 DPT=137 LEN=58

And in /etc/rc.firewall there is, among others, this line:

iptables -A f2to1 -p udp --sport 1024:65535 --dport 137:137 -j ACCEPT

As far as I understand iptables this line should allow these packets,
shouldn't it? But instead the packet falls through and ends up getting
dropped.

I just like to solve this, because besides of that issue, I'm really
pleased the way guarddog works.

Bye,

Mathias
