Is the host running samba and guarddog the 192.168.1.8?
If yes then in guarddog you need to add a rule to enable the
bidirectional communication.
E.G
Protocols served by 'SMB Network'
Zones Local Other Internet
ticked not ticked not ticked
In the worst case you have to actually define a zone
as the 'SMB network'
