Service Location Protocol (SLP) support?

Hi,

I've just started using guarddog on Ubuntu 8.0.4/Hardy, but I can't seem
to figure out how to configure it to allow SLP traffic between the
machine and my HP OfficeJet printer.

I've added the ports/addresses from here
(http://www.networksorcery.com/enp/protocol/slp.htm) and have tried
various things mentioned elsewhere on the list.  My hard-core networking
skills are pretty rusty since I haven't needed them in quite a while, so
it would be great if SLP was added directly to Guard Dog.  Right now, I
have to disable my firewall every time I want to scan a document, and I
get messages about can't send SLP packets from hp-config.

The OfficeJet is 10.0.8.200, eth1 is configured as 10.0.8.1 and I have a
DMZ configured as 10.0.8.0/24 in guarddog.

Any ideas on how to make this work would be very helpful.  I've also
enabled the SNMP service between the local and the DMZ from both
directions.
