HamsterCage is the English translation of HamsterKaefig. It is a
scheduler for Mail and News retrieval for Hamster. Unfortunately it
does not appear to be supported any longer. The author's (Alex Ebner)
web site has disappeared. It does allow you to do the basic functions
of Hamster without having to write scripts. A little buggy though.
