Ah ! The english comments have the white background ? Thanks.

I downloaded "all scripts and modules."

A search found only * ONE * with "pop" in. It is
hs2-054-POP3Trigger.zip

Okay, I used a different translator and got the following intro. Is
this it ?

#!hs2 ###############################################
  # Script: POP3Trigger V1.1 # description: if one within an
adjustable interval twice with one # mail client per POP3 on the
hamster
take action, leads this Script that # Subroutine "action" from. # #
History: : + = newly x = change o = Bugfix # + the Script considers
the accesses only, if it of the same # User come # # attitudes: the
attitude for the
interval become in the POP3Trigger.ini # vorgenommen. Furthermore a
least time can be registered, must # the verstreichen before the
Subroutine is called again. # in the Ini-file also can be determined,
whether that # Script
the work mitprotokolliert. # # Files: to this Script, the file
POP3Trigger.ini # # installation belongs: Script and POP3Trigger.ini
into the hamster Scriptverzeichnis copy # # author: Daniel Srostlik

# #################################

No idea what a vorgenommen, verstreichen, mitprotokolliert etc. are.

Sorry, I am not doing that on purpose. That page had so much German in
it I thought I must have had the wrong one. Perhaps someone should
have put "English translation follows each German description" ? Or
something similar. At the top of the page ! :-)

IMO such a "basic" function should be a * configuration option * of
Hamster. Something like "tick here to get Hamster to fetch mail when
you activate your email client".

I could suggest it for the next beta BUT every suggestion I have made
on this list has been totally ignored. So I won't bother. This is the
only beta product I have ever used where this happens. :-(

Thanks for your continued help on this. I fear however that even if we
can find the right script a German script in my English version of
Hamster probably wouldn't work. Neither would a translation that only
translated two out of every three words.

Regards, John.
