Help for a Hamster beginner

Well, I've actually been using Hamster in fairly simple fashion for a year or so, in order to pull messages from three different news servers while using only one copy of Agent. But we've recently set up a server for our home LAN and moved Hamster there so that my partner and I can both use it. Now we'd like to automate it a little. All we need is for Hamster to pull messages from all three newsservers every 15 minutes or so, and post any waiting messages. We have an always-on internet connection, so there's no need for RAS or anything like that. We're using "Classic Hamster Vr. 1.3 (Build 1.3.23.141)" on a Win98 machine. I've tried to read some of the web pages I've found that should help me know how to do this, but I don't speak German. And while I greatly appreciate the translations to English I've found in some places, I still find myself pretty much lost.
