Basic Filter Useage?

I have been using hamster for about 2 years now, and all of sudden am
getting tons of crap all originating from 1 IP address but coming as
many different e-mail addresses form many different domains.

I thought hey I'll just add a filter to block this, and poof it
doesn't work! here is my filter file, what am I doing wrong?

[*]
Kill()  To: "[email protected]"

notify(admin)
=Kill() *Recieved: "*24.42.57.176*"
