Beta 2.0.5.5 SMTP problems

Anyone who develops Hamster Classic on this list?? Thomas or anyone?

I downloaded 2.0.5.5 and have been using it for a while, but now I'm 
experiencing the following problems:

1) When a script is running (which usually 100% of the time as I keep 
a 30min re-fresh POP script running), then I frequently get SMTP 
failures from my Outlook Express client.
2) If I stop the script, then retry the SMTP client then it all seems 
ok.  I've also noticed that I don't see the script I configured for 
Outgoing email running, nothing in the logs. But the email does seem 
to be sent out to the external SMTP server.

I don't remember seeing these problems on 2.0.5.1, and wondered if 
anyone else has seen similar things?
