I am running Hamster (trying both PG and Classic) on my Win2K system. My
system is on a small network as the ICS "server". The network IP is the
usual 192.168.0.1 and I have a dialup connection to the internet.

I can't connect from one of the other network computers (192.168.0.2) to
Hamster. It acts like it doesn't exist. Per the docs, I shouldn't need to
do anything special for the other system to "see" the Hamster server should
I? I should just point the newsreader at 192.168.0.1 (or the machine name
"bosco") and it should see the local newsgroups and any others, right?
Well, it doesn't. Yet, the remote machine sees everything else on "bosco"
just fine. The remote machine simply acts like nothing is there. There is
no response at all, not even a login failure.

I even tried disabling my firewall and it had no effect.

Any ideas?
