I'm not sure if it has its own development list, but it's not something that is comaintained with INN. > Option b) > In newsfeeds put > ME/google-groups.google.com:\ > Something has to be done INN is news software that the installer can configure however they'd like, not a project that takes a stance on network abuse issues. I'm opposed to shipping punative policy in its default configuration, no matter how tempting or well-justified. This is a bottomless pit of arguments and stress and confrontation that I opted out of years ago and would completely destroy my interest in doing further work on INN. (This is also why I'd rather not discuss Cleanfeed *policy* configuration on this list, even if otherwise installing it with INN is moderately on-topic.) We created news.admin.net-abuse.usenet for these discussions years ago because otherwise they took over every other newsgroup or list discussing Usenet administration and drowned everything else. I personally would really appreciate it if people would keep the discussion there and stop bothering those of us who are uninterested and who will never be interested. I'm already killfiling the majority of news.software.nntp traffic right now because people insist on cross-posting net-abuse traffic there. -- Russ Allbery ([email protected]) <https://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/> Please send questions to the list rather than mailing me directly. <https://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/faqs/questions.html> explains why. -- inn-workers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.isc.org/mailman/listinfo/inn-workers
