I just tried to add a Yahoo contact for the first time today. As a minor point may I sugest that you add an 'Add Buddy' item to the Chat menu? Having to right-click on the group title isn't that obvious. The bigger problem (lol) was a segfault when I hit OK in the Add Contact box. I was trying to add a contact that I had previously added with CenterICQ, which for some reason still uses version 0.1 of libyahoo2. Ayttm version 0.4.6-1 GTK+ version 1.2.10 Features: Operating system: Linux 2.4.21 (i686) C Library: GNU libc 2.2.4 Signal: 11 My ISP's DNS cache currently isn't reliable, & while I don't think it had anything to do with the above bug, it showed up another one: If a program can't find a host, it often seems to be quicker to cancel & retry rather than continue trying to connect. I hit Cancel, then used the menu to attempt to set my status to 'online' (which presumably would try to reconnect) & nothing happened. I had to restart Ayttm to start using Yahoo again. Attempting to connect to ICQ results in a dialog box reading "An unknown error has occured 0" within 1 or 2 seconds of connection. Also when the DNS lookup for the ICQ server fails there's a progress bar that doesn't go away until I hit cancel, not sure if this is a bug or it's retrying despite showing the 'failed' dialog box. Sorry about the long (-ish ;) list of bugs. -- Ethan Grammatikidis ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Sleepycat Software Learn developer strategies Cisco, Motorola, Ericsson & Lucent use to deliver higher performing products faster, at low TCO. http://www.sleepycat.com/telcomwpreg.php?From=osdnemail3
