Summary: MSN Error

Initial Comment:
I always get this (but have never reported it): 
 
An error has occurred while communicating with the 
MSN messenger server: 
  Invalid parameter (code 201). 
 
I get 16 of them, which I think is probably about the 
number of MSN contacts I have.  Maybe recreating them 
would help?  I've been using everybuddy for ages so 
maybe it's an aging problem?

probably. Try removing your ~/.ayttm/contacts file.

i asked about this error last month.  here is philip's response:

basically he says it is your "friendly name" being set
incorrectly.  i could not figure out what to set it to to
make this go away, and my follow up question about it
(either what it should be set to or if it's possible to
disable it) went unanswered.  i'd be interested in this
solution, too, since my answer up until now has been to
simply add error code 201 to the list of codes not to
generate a message for in the msn module, which feels like a
hack.
