oops... it was late and I forgot that this mailing list doesn't put the

So they're basically going to force their users to upgrade every few
months in order to prevent 3rd parties from using it... wonderful.

Imagine if other industries did that.... All of a sudden your car
doesn't fit on residential streets any more.... or your padlock doesn't
fit on
the storage place door... or any number of other absurd things.

*sigh*  Why do they care who downloads their client?  it's free... they
don't charge for it... why don't they just care about their network.

And I doubt spim is the reason for it.  I don't get any spim unless I
first respond to an unknown user.  And... I'd bet that most of the
spimmers are using the official client anyway.
