Re: yahoo broke things again...

this story hit /. this morning.  some of the comments i saw seemed to hint
that yahoo was a little mad when clients like trillian started allowing
users to "send a message to all contacts," and they're trying to prevent
this, as it's an enabler for spamming.

i don't know if it's true or not, but i don't think that yahoo can believe
they can make an unreverse-engineer-able protocol.  the yahoo client has
ads, but only in the main window IIRC, which you can keep off-screen, so i
don't really know what they're thinking.  *shrug*
