ayttm & Mandrake 10

Hi folks,

I downloaded ayttm-0.4.6-2mdk.i586.rpm for Mandrake 10 from rpm.phone.net
and was finally able to install it after installing an additional 34 rpms.
However, when I launch ayttm, nothing happens. I tried from both the console
and from a shortcut on my desktop. I also tried both as root and as normal
user. I then downloaded the src.rpm and rebuilt it. I then removed the
existing installed rpm and replaced it with the newly built one. No
difference - I still get nothing. No errors, no status, no anything.
Obviously something is not set up correctly on my system but I don't know
what.

Any ideas?

Mandrake 10, 2.6 kernel, AMD Tbird 800, 80GB Seagate, 256MB, nVidia GF2
