Initial Comment:
Windows port version 0.4.6-1

During a jabber group chat, I have noticed consistantly
using a variety of fonts that when I submit text to the
conversation my submission appears mangled like the
text has been crushed .

resizing the window fixes the display as does waiting
for someone else to submit text.  

Linux version 0.4.6-14? does not exhibit this behavior.

I am running Windows XP.

Please provide the exact steps to reproduce this problem.

Under preferences->chat what are your settings for 
everything.
