Summary: having problems typing

Initial Comment:
I am using ayttm 0.4.5-1 (recently updated, linux mandrake 9.0) and
i am having some problems typing messages.

1) Sometimes when i type a sentence and i conclude with a smiley
(seems the ;) smiley is the one) the last character of the last word is
removed.

2) it is not always possible to see the whole sentences on screen.
For a strange reason parts of (some) sentences are falling out of
sight, without a scrollbar. Stretching the window will do the trick, but
it is very annoying.

These things are since i updated ayttm to this version.
