Finally got around to trying this, and installed the latest version of
JasPer available on the JasPer site (1.701), and I built/installed AYTTM
from source. The binary built from source won't run, either as a regular
user or root. It thinks about it for half a second, then returns me to
the command line. This is the executable in /usr/local/bin.

I reinstalled the FC2 RPM, and that worked as before (the RPM puts the
ayttm binary in /usr/bin), but I still get no camera images.

I tried looking for error messages in logs, but found nothing. Is there
somewhere I should be looking for causes of these problems? Has anyone
else run into this before?
