Hi,
It would be nice to be able to specify the install 
directory for building under MinGW for Win32.  I know 
this is strange, but my main drive is G: and not C:.  You 
could have the /c/Program\ Files/ be the default 
directory, but have it to where you could pass an 
argument to configure to change this, say --win32-
prefix=DIR, where Ayttm would be installed in 
DIR/ayttm/  DIR would need to be specified in MinGW 
format: /drive/path/to/directory.  I would like to have 
this to install to my G: drive instead, and it would be 
nice to, say, collect all the files in one place to copy to 
another computer.

This can be specified when using the proper installation 
script. If you need to change this when installing via the build 
environment, then by all means edit the files directly.

Hi Fatman,
Attached is a work-around that I came up with.  It is a shell 
script copied out of the makefile in the mingw32 directory.  It 
has worked so far for me.  I suspect there could be some 
problems if the Win32 install section of the makefile changed.  
Just change the "installdir" variable at the top to specify 
where you want Ayttm installed.  For example, if you have:
installdir="/d/Program Files"
Ayttm will be installed in d:\Program Files\Ayttm
Since someone finally showed interest in this, I thought I'd 
post it : )

I second this. My laptop, for various reasons, used to have
its main Windows partition on D: instead of C:. Also, one of
my systems has a whole HDD dedicated to apps and games,
leaving my C: for Windows and apps that refuse to install or
be tweaked into working elsewhere.
