Dear Fellows, I found sort of a workaround for my problem. After enabling debugging in plugins I saw, that the conversion from jpg (format 5) to jpc (format 6) returned empty layers (warning: empty layer by jasper) on the level of the image conversion pulgin. Therefore I converted the pictures within the streamer wrapper *beforehand* and now it works fine.
