Version 0.4.6-17 installs for me with no problems, but when I try to install
the cvs version the install fails like this:

mkdir /usr/local/share/smileys
mkdir /usr/local/share/smileys/Console
mkdir /usr/local/share/smileys/Console/Smileys
 /bin/install -c -m 644 ./aysmile.rc /usr/local/share//smileys/Console
Smileys/aysmile.rc
/bin/install: cannot create regular file `/usr/local/share//smileys/Console
Smileys/aysmile.rc': No such file or directory
 /bin/install -c -m 644 ./blank.xpm /usr/local/share//smileys/Console
Smileys/blank.xpm
/bin/install: cannot create regular file `/usr/local/share//smileys/Console
Smileys/blank.xpm': No such file or directory
 /bin/install -c -m 644 ./blush.xpm /usr/local/share//smileys/Console
Smileys/blush.xpm
/bin/install: cannot create regular file `/usr/local/share//smileys/Console
Smileys/blush.xpm': No such file or directory

make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

For some reason there is an extra '/' in the directory path. Any ideas why?

Thanks,
