hi,

just did a fresh cvs checkout and while the usual ./gen, configure and
make runs fine and the build is done, make install throws up this error:

Making install in po
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/subash/ayttm/po'
/bin/sh `case "./mkinstalldirs" in /*) echo "./mkinstalldirs" ;; *) echo
".././mkinstalldirs" ;; esac` /usr/local/share

.././mkinstalldirs: .././mkinstalldirs: No such file or directory
make[1]: ***[install-data-yes] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/subash/ayttm/po'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

so i just copied the mkinstalldirs file from the previous cvs version i
have, 0.4.6-24 and doing a make install gives this:

test -z "/usr/local/share/ayttm/smileys/"Console Smileys"" || mkdir -p
-- "/usr/local/share/ayttm/smileys/"Console Smileys""
/bin/sh: line 1: test: /usr/local/share/ayttm/smileys/Console: binary
operator expected
/usr/bin/ginstall -c -m 644 'aysmile.rc'
'/usr/local/share/ayttm/smileys/Console Smileys/aysmile.rc'
/usr/bin/ginstall: installing multiple files, but last argument,
`Smileys/aysmile.rc' is not a directory
Try `/usr/bin/ginstall --help' for more information.

which is also repeated for every xpm file. my autoconf version =2.5.9
and automake-1.9.4. appreciate help. :)

regards, subash
