You could possibly search the list >archives to find out. I dont think that problem is related to the above SIG_PIPE warning. I am getting this warning since long now(may be a year). A warning is printed everytime ayttm makes a sound. The warning is probably related to aRts and have noticed in other programs as well. But I doubt thats what is causing any problem. I use KDE too but Ayttm 0.4.6-17, warning is printed but ayttm is running fine.
