compile issue

Hello,

I'm trying to install ayttm-0.4.6 from source.
I'm using Mandrake 9.2 amd64bit version and get the following error:
When I try ./configure --disable-webcam , I can get it to compile, -fPIC
says unknown switch so in order to get it to compile successfully I have
to disable webcam. Is there a way I can get webcam also ?
